Yes, I teach college English at two universities (Youngstown State and Kent
State-Geauga), and accept Wikipedia citations. I'm not wild about Wikipedia
and encourage students to find other sources, but a goal of my course is to
teach students how to cite sources, and Wikipedia is a source,

lap-top it is a version of an e-content dated XX.YY.ZZ.
We may have to capture the liveness property of Wikipedia on all low-cost
computers meant for individuals.
Otherwise, there is a good chance that this
