This proposal has been discussed on the Conference list and is unopposed.
Please will you consider selecting a person to act as LibreOffice Conference
Moderator as described below?
If they agree, I would suggest the Thorstens (both of them) for the job...

Hi everyone !
At last Open World Forum in Paris I was talking to a colleague from Red
Hat. We were discussing LibreOffice and our projects.
An idea he gave is to my sense SO CLEVER, and I think we should push it to
whoever might be interested, developers, discuss list or whatever...
The idea :

it is not a new ideia.. Oracle started something like that for
OpenOffice.org called CloudOffice:

Hi Flavio :D
Wasn't aware of this solution,
But do you think this can be adressed to developers and see what they think
about getting on it ?
I think it is very important to have their opinion, if not even an absolute
necessity :)

I,
sure... I'm not a LO developer so it should come from them any kind of
saying.
There seems to be however some work done in that area... and that was my
main purpose on the reply... although I don't think the source for
CloudOffice is available...

We have announced - and shown - a working prototype of LibreOffice
OnLine one year ago, at the Paris Conference. Developers are not only
aware of it, but they have already worked at developing a prototype, and
we should be able to announce a beta version sometime in 2013.
There have been several
I wasn't aware of that... does it have any relation with CloudOffice?

But does that mean this is meant to be a solution available on Document

Italo Vignoli -
Not at all. CloudOffice was a strictly proprietary product, which I
understand it was based on a different code base (but I might be wrong
as I am not a developer).

Hi everyone,
A week or two ago, I posted a message in this list to inform you about my
research project. I basically study the influence of FOSS community newcomer
experience on contributor behaviour (including community citizenship
behaviours).
The survey is now live and can be found at:

Hi,
I think it could go this way, but seems like Green House is hosted by IBM
itself.
That's my point. Something like Google Docs or IBM Green House, but that
will not require from you to store your data on externally managed servers.
