I got 14 SB2 connected to one slimserver
My network is a cisco network
Slimserver is running on a powerfull windows 2003
Symptom : All the SB2 are playing the same album.And sometimes one of
the SB2 stop
Something else to consider ... if any of your other squeezeboxen are
wireless, you can use the squeezebox as a wireless bridge, it seems
SB2 only though.

Thanks for those...although I burned the disc last night
and found almost all songs everyone had posted!
I bought almost all music used, some I was able to download
from the artist's website.
Speaking of good country titles, have you heard of
Billy's got his beer goggles on ? I heard the
Never mind, had moved the wrong file into the folder. Working now,
although it's very slow to buffer across a network.

IMHO Time-shifting live streams seems like a logical extention of
Slimserver capability. Has anyone looked into what it would take for
Slimserver to mesh with an application like Replay Radio or Replay
Music (or any others...)? Could a plugin be written, or are the two
technologies

Are the two players that are being controlled both receiving signals
from the remote control? This would mean that when you press play on
two synced players, the group is getting two play commands, possibly

Mine has worked fine on many flavors of OSX as well.
However, since you're having some trouble and appear to want to use a

I've had problems with slim.exe using 90-100% of my CPU for the last
week or so. I've resorted to shutting it down when I use the PC. I've
unchecked the MMM plugin, but it hasn't helped me any.

Something I've never been able to get working properly is the RealSlim

Hmmm. I ended slim.exe, restarted SlimServer, and disabled the MMM
reload by setting it to zero. I also have not modified any music files
since restarting slimserver. Slim.exe is back to eating up my CPU.

Well, I think I've got it on my PC... however, don't anyone hold your
breath, the SB2 got a short section within a short item. And I'm not
entirely sure they got the point with a flaky comparison with a Sonos
system.

I'm still experiencing problems with multi-disc albums. So tonight I
installed the latest 6.1.2 nightly and noted the results below (it
works) and then installed the latest 6.2 nightly and noted the results
(I don't think it works correctly).
If no one has any suggestions I'll raise a bug.
For
30 seconds out of 2.5 minutes ... not bad. I have a 6MB windows Media

IANAL, but are you sure about that? The DMCA has a lot of verbiage
about breaking the DRMs, etc.
