Check that you have it in both 802.11b and 802.11g. I'm not sure what
the default mode is, but it is possible to make the WRT54g work only in
802.11g mode, in which case, the SB1, which only speaks 802.11b, won't
be able to connect at all.

Is there a list anywhere of which features / bugfixes were implemented
in which version of slimserver?
I tried updating from 5.1.1 to 6.2.1, but found a couple of (for me)
showstopping problems, regarding playlist handling and performance. I'm
now idly considering whether I should try one
It appears to be failing at trying to establish a connection with the
router, the logs don't show a failed connection as it doesn't appear to
be getting that far! The Wireless router is being used as a DHCP Server
and I've added the complete range into the firewall just to make sure

database, rescans, etc. All on a small library so that I could check

Before raising a bug report, upgrade to the latest 6.2.2 candidate build
- this contains all the latest bugfixes to the 6.2 code. (The only
reason it hasn't been released yet is that they're still ironing out a
wireless connection bugs with the firmware).
You could even try the latest 6.5 build.

I've just upgraded my SB1 for an ebay-SB2. However, the SB2 does not get
a proper IP through my WRT54G's DHCP-server when using a wired
connection. Also assigning a static IP does not connect the squeezebox
with my network. In wireless-mode the squeezebox works fine.
I've searched through the

find one called Ashampoo, of all the names, and it's not bad. But WMA

on to the server with the web interface, most stations will play -
through the sq3. I can access shoutcast fine.

shoutcast only. With DHCP it works fine. Even tried a bunch of
different DNS addresses with no luck. I wonder why this is a problem.
Using DHCP it is using the DNS address that I originally had.
