For one thing, Linux takes its sweet time before it begins configuring devices; I get the penguin icon in the upper left corner, then it sits there about three minutes. Once it starts again, a bunch of I/O errors appear for each drive, ending with two lines for each: This is no good sign :-/

In Australia the issue of releases is significant. If a customer purchased a squeezebox and the software clearly doesn't run properly i.e. duplicates entries etc, the distributor in Australia would be liable under consumer law. The customer could demand a full refund etc etc. This is not good
