Squeezenetwork. IIRC only Slim Picks menu content is provided by
Slimdevices. Other menu items such as ShoutCast, RadioTime etc hand
over to that operator and they (i.e. Shoutcast etc.) provide the menu

R12 releases and they have been stable since early alpha. My music is
ripped to Flac.
I like extra control of tagging so tend to re-tag after ripping with

the forseeable future or will the old feeds be switched off at some

only issues i have are with a few radio stations that refuse to play
with out unchecking oggogg box.

After searching, I can't find hard answers.
First, concerning ALAC playback. The files play fine through my Mac
Mini. However, some files (always the same files) wont play
through the Transporter. They exhist on the wireless network and when
I push play, the song shows on the TP display, but

I've recently purchased a sb3 and loaded slimserver. I've upgraded twice
but still when I scan my music folder I only get about 50% of my songs.
I figured out a way to get them all by going to my music folder and

Well, I did some testing (using a high qualitiy hifi set), comparing CD
to qualitiy mp3 using a blind testing setup and I have to say.
I am now ready with my 2.4GHz Dual as my new music server.
What I did so far:
Installing Windows XP, incl. servicepack updates
Installing the appropriate drivers
Installing the latest nighty version of SlimServer

My friend has an SB3 and running wirelessly to SS 6.5.1 12/31 daily on
Win XP. All has been running flawlessly for the past 4 months.
The router is a Linksys WRT54G.
The problem he began having (quite suddenly) is that suddenly the SB3
lost connection with the server and could no longer connect
All of a sudden I have a pretty pronounced 60hz hum in my
Squeezebox. It goes away when I unplug it from the wall.

To add to the above:
We tried a factory reset and soft reset as well.
I brought my laptop over and it was immediately issued an IP address
and connected to the Linksys, so the router appears to be fine.
