You get this behaviour when you have SC 7.01 running and switch to and from the SN. The SC 7.01 pushes older firmware to your receiver than the squeezenetwork. As soon as you install 7.1 this problem goes away, but ofcourse 7.1 has it's own share of problems. I would be carefull with flashing

Do you have any other web servers on your PC that run on Port 80? If not, there is no reason you can't change the SC7 port to 80, making your mobile provider think you are just accessing a regular site. Even if you do it temporarily, it would be good for trouble shooting. -- funkstar

Mine's been doing it from day one...the overall build quality is pretty poor - the battery lid has play and squeaks as your palm closes around it when pressing buttons etc. I also own a Harmony One and it's fair to say that the build quality by comparison is in a different league altogether.

Had the same problem, solved by putting some ( unused :-) ) handkerchief tissue paper on top of the battery. Cut and fold to size of the battery just high enough to still be able close the cover whith a little pressure. -- Letten

Random suggestion: The missing album is accidentally tagged as a compilation album, and you have group compilation albums together setting engaged? Do you find the album under Various Artists in the Artist List? If this could be your issue, you need to set the compilation tag to COMPILATION=0.

I'm having all kinds of trouble with softsqeeze suddenly. What happened? I've been running SC 7.1 with no problems. Now if i try and start SoftSqueeze, SC comes and goes with music, and SoftSqueeze starts, but won't play music. Very frustrating. Does 7.1 have any issues with Softsqueeze?
