When will native AAC finally be supported? I mean, now that Apple has
essentially created a whole market segement with it's IPOD stuff and
iTunes is the most popular download service AND SB's (and the other
devices) have a powerful processor and architecture...

install.xml to work on 7.1. Then perhaps an update to the iPlayer Addon
was missed or not installed properly.

It's taken me a while to get it working, but finally got my SqueezeBoxen
to wake my PC from standby. I coudn't find the Mac address in the
properties of the network card, but used getmac /v at the command
prompt to find it, and it agreed to that in the SB settings.

Check that the ip addresses are different on the two players.
I had the same problem, ensuring the ip addresses were different by
doing a factory reset and then specifying manual ip's fixed this
problem for me. Not a clue how the players ended up with the same ip as
I had previously set them

IP) but the next scan still did a complete, 15 min +, music IP scan.

I submitted a bug regarding gaps that were seen with LAME encoded mp3
files. I think that fix was specific to mp3 though. That fix came in
7.1.

I'm having a little trouble getting AlienBBC to work. I've just
upgraded from SlimServer 6.5.somthing to SqueezeCenter 7.2-2290. I then
copied the AlienBBC files to the /usr/share/squeezecenter/Plugins
directory (Debian Linux) and then restarted the server.
Everything seems OK at first, i.e.
I am having problems getting the 7.2 scanner to make it through my
70,000 songs without crashing. I use MusicIP on windows XP and
everything worked fine on 7.1.
The top of the log file had several hundred entries like:
[00:43:57.4646] Slim::Formats::readTags (161) File missing: F:\Music\02

Happens all the time for me. Everytime the microwave

it does not interfere at all with any of my wireless devices, even a
Boom that is 2 feet away.

The iPlayer Addon is required once you have the AlienBBC plugin working.
The RTSP error indicates that ALienBBC is not installed correctly.
Make sure you have used AlienBBC 2.01 for 7.1 and not 2.01 for 7.0

I think iPhone might be on the right track.
My microwave is possibly ten years old, even my wireless phone is six

Just moved from SC 7.0 to 7.2 and now multi-disk compilation albums not
merge together anymore.
Multi-disk albums with one artist merge just fine.
I have these settings.
Group compilation albums together.
List albums by band.
Treat TPE2 MP3 tag as Band.
Treat multi-disk set as a single
