Looks very nice. Good to see a how it works section which may attract
more potential buyers.
Where is the download plug-in section?

I concur entirely. It's a nice device. Personally I favour a
touchscreen PC for the same job/s. Bit more flexibility. I was very

It wouldn't force a total clear and rescan. Just have the new music

At least for me
I'm using 7.3.2

So what is your expected song count? By your spreadsheet I count 35,674
music (flac, ape, and mp3) music files.
Are these music files all single-track-per-file (each file is one song)
or do you have any albums ripped as a single file with a CUE sheet to
break them up into tracks?
What do you

Could SC have counted one of the folders twice?
Yes. That might explain how SC counted 42,000 songs when there were
only 35,000, but not why it now only sees 32,000.
Most people use a
I did a complete reinstall of Vista plus updates (which was agonizingly
slow because of Vista)
I then reinstalled SC 7.3.2 and the file count matched exactly.
Thanks.

Could you post a few RadioIO station names that are not working? Then
others can try them to help confirm/diagnose the problem.

Hi bpa
Does this screenshot help at all? It's a bit faded as it was very hard
to catch the final lines before the window closed.

I'd guess that's what Partners - Add-Ons is supposed to link to,
but as MeSue notes, those links trigger 404 errors. Seems weird to me --
the availability of 3rd party plugins, both music-related and not, is a

I have an odd/new issue with my ipeng on my iphone. No matter what I do
as of today I simply can't connect to squeezenetwork (SN) as my server.
I've been a user of the app since version 1.0. I have a Boom and SB3
mostly using SN. Until today, this has all worked perfectly. I can

I had a similar problem, and assumed it was on my end. I also (a the
same time), had issues with the remote controlling the SB3. I had
unplug (not just power off with the remote) the SB3, wait a few
seconds, and plug it back in. Once I did that, all started working
again.
Rudimentary fix,

The closest I could find was in 'this review of the O2 Joggler by The

I already have a SB Classic. Could I move the SB to another room and
use just the controller for it, and use my existing SB remote for the
Transporter?
I was thinking about just getting a Duet for the second room, but this
may be a better solution.

rebooting, unplugging, etc. everything didn't solve my problem with
ipeng connecting to SN. But I just noticed another thread that seems to
be the same issue as mine, albeit related to the controller (not the
ipeng). Seems to be that folks can connect players to SN but not their
controller. I

Yep, you could.
Oops. They're reporting Out of stock...Ship date uncertain. But
apparently you can reserve one at the $1,799.99 price.

Sorry, not a Squeeze-issue at all!
I'm thinking of buying an HDX1000 media streamer for movies, photos and

Let's think about the target market. I'd bet the vast majority - maybe
3 of 4 -
I just learned that you can browse by Music Folder in SC. When you do
that, and find whatever music you just added, it gets added to SC
automatically and you can begin playing music without a full rescan.
Not quite as convenient as an auto-sensing rescan, but handy when you
want to listen to
Also Google for any test showing that jitter actually makes an audible
difference. You probably won't find anything.
The posts above say it all; yes you can get a bit perfect copy from CD
to DAC using a squeezebox and good ripping software to rip the CDs to
flac.
No need for an expensive CD
Seems harder to find the plugins page. Unless I missed it, you have to
access one of the pages that still has the old menu system, like the
wiki, before you can see the plugins menu.
