No, its called a power amplifier.
But, as you will see below I use an SB3 with an external DAC that has a
simple potentiometer as a volume control. The DAC acts as the control

Settings-advanced-file types-
On the left you will see MP3:
The first entry was FLAC-mplayer.sh/flac
The second entry was mp3-native
I changed the Flac one to disabled and now mp3's are just being played

in my gateway IP; still a little befuddled as to why Alien and BBC
iPlayer worked just fine with the bad gateway address but all the other
'net radio sites wouldn't connect--at least @#...@#$@ pilot error, while

did you install 7.3.3 over an existing install? if so, i'd try to sweep
it entirely off your system, and then do a clean 7.3.3 reinstall from

I got my self an new HomeServer with Squeezeserver running on it.
All my SB still 'know' the old one.
I can't figure out, how to get rid of it.
