I expect the lyrics plugin to work just fine as it just performs a
lookup on artist and song and it doesn't matter from which source it is
playing.

As I'm having 'issues' with squeezeslave-asio starting as a service with
windows, I was wondering if there were any plans to have Squeezeplay
with an ASIO out?
Also would be nice as Squeezeplay supports 24/96 and squeezeslave
doesn't (please correct me if that's incorrect...).
Thanks.

Would be convenient for attaching directly to a legacy Squeezebox to
mirror my music collection in my (otherwise offline) shop.

Transporter can be discussed in -> Audiohpiles I think. The SqueezeBox
Classic also doesn't have a forum but is usually in the General.

There is no separate forum for the transporter. In general, you can ask
transporter specific questions in the audiophiles forum.

For the sake of the OP, let me say that I fully agree and would love to
get the 192k version of Pandora on my multiple SB equipment.
On the subject of increased quality, any well recorded jazz or
classical album will truly allow one to hear the difference between 128k
MP3 and the original. The di
As has been suggested, how well the file has been encoded matters as
much as the bitrate. I hear many 128k stations that do not sound as
good as some 96k stations, and I'm guessing the encoding method is
likely the main difference. As a general rule (and as I do) searching
for the higher bitrate

Great work on the new release. Haven't noticed any issues during daily
operation with this one. Will podcasts be supported at some point? I
guess it should be under "apps" (the icon with the globe).
Thanks for a great program.

Good call on Ripcaster - that's a good website. I got my Boom from PC
World, which also had a solitary Classic at the same time.
It blows me away that these products aren't more widely available and
marketed. I'd been looking for a solution like this for a long time and

I emailed Pandora regarding 192kbps and received a prompt response that
they are a small organization and need to allocate their resources as
such. They did thank me for the feedback. Perhaps if enough of us
contact Pandora, it would persuade them to devote some resources to this
project.

No, did rename without the hyphen, but will give your suggestion a
shot. Also wondering, when this all started, it was due to another
unrelated issue (I think) but I deleted and recreated the registry
entry.
In recent debugging of a problem with my radio streaming, I notice that
when I use SoftSqueeze (on same XP box as server) to listen to live
streams, the music distribution to my Squeezeboxes crawls to a stutter.
This is true for both V3.7 and V3.8. Also, the Web UI (in the browser)

No, I'm talking about very serious BLIND ABX listening tests with high

Just press Play on the remote. Doing so (assuming your SB3 was last
