If the change was as dramatic as you describe, then I can only imagine a bad ALAC binary or misconfiguration of the file conversion pipe was to blame. I assume you didn't re-rip your CDs? If not, you've just pre-converted the files off-line instead of having them converted on the fly. The result

Vizio has announced that their new tv's will have streaming music (RadioTime, Pandora and Rhapsody and maybe other services). I still like my squeezeboxes with Rhapsody because more flexible as to their placement compared to tv's and cheaper too. But still, it is interesting how streaming music

[slim] Player Not Found

Web interface indicates that the player cannot be found. The screen on the SlimDevice - Squeezebox indicates that it cannot connect to the server. However, my system tray icon indicates that the server is running. My operating system is Windows XP. How do I get my Squeezebox working again? Than

Hi Locuth Just wanted to give my thanks for this brilliant little app. Just upgraded to 1.3 beta3 from 1.0 and there are so many improvements. I am using a SE X1 with WM 6.1 and a 800x480 screen. If I slide the phone open there is a minor graphical issue when screen rotates to "wide screen" mode.

I've experienced somehitn like this on a normal PC based SqueezeBox Server. My initial experience stemmed from alarm usage. I had set an alarm to be a favourite, BBC Radio 4. It stopped working for a short while (BBC problem) so I set it the alarm to be Natural Sound/Lapping Waves from MySqueezebo
