Technically - simple. Even with the transcoding.
Practically - impossible.
Ah, shame - would have been very cool, I think.
Thanks for the quick reply, Pippin.

Hi,
what's up with Logitechs selling policy?
First they cancel the SB Classic. Now they cancel SB Receiver.
And SB Touch is neither available nor cheap.
I don't get it.
There is no longer a simple, cheap Internet Radio solution like SB

and also verify the firmware version on the player it should be 130 .

Thanks for correcting my statements.
So the facts are:
SB Classic will be sold till warehouses are empty and its successor is
the Touch. Which seems to be more expensive, but thats only the MSRP
which is higher than the SB Classic which is available since a while.
SB Touch has more features
So basically what is requested is something like The Synchronizer
plugin.
I have now installed it. It works, gets the job done. I will now
replace SB's own sync on my main menu. But I really think it should be
core functionality. Sync is a main differentiator and shouldn't rely on
users fiddling
Congratulations. Great work!

It doesn't simulate 5.1... It can do stuff like jazz club or

It's a Marantz AV9000. Anyone familiar?

Ok, went through all the possible modes. None of em use all speakers...
They use some combination of the front 3 speakers only, it seems.
