Nearly all of my stations (in the US) do have live track/artist
information via RDS, which would have been nice to see. However, it
looks like the Radio Shark will be my best bet. It will certainly be no
worse than the radio I've been using for years!

I read several threads in English and German about Synchronising.
In fact, I'm not able to synchronise properly e.g. without delay.
Some times it works between Duett receiver and boom, 3 hours later, a
delay in between so that you have to stop transmission asap. Between

If need be there is the sleepwatcher script for OSX. It can be made to run
various actions prior to going to sleep or waking up. This could be used to
kill/restart/pause squeezeslave as needed.

For me Syncing has more to do with what one is trying to accomplish and
with what.
As an example, I have 8 Squeezeboxes (TP, 2 Boom, 2 Receivers, 3 SB3s)
on an all wired network with no Internet Connection run from a dedicated
SBS linux server. I sync them all the time without any issues

Duh! I followed the same advice I post for others on this forum: stop
and restart SbS. Problem solved. Squeezeplay will synch and as a
controller (my use) works just fine

OK, maintenance is done... the server has been migrated to a new host
and location, and all of the inbound and outbound mail has been tested
and seems to be working fine. Mailing List - Forum Gateway is
functioning properly as well.
