Hi great app, but I just have one small problem.
When I use my iPad as the player I can't play any songs with Napster
this problem is only with the iPad when playing through the squeezebox
receiver Napster plays fine.
With the iPad player the song plays for a few seconds before skipping
to the nex

My install of SS lives on a dedicated server-pc. I'd be using
Squeezeslave on a different computer, but one that is on the network
with the server. Is Squeezeslave going

Here is my setup
1. A Mac in my study with all my music on it running OSX Lion connected
to a router
2. A squeezebox Duet in my living room connected via ethernet cable to
my music on my mac via the router
3. A hacked joggler in my kitchen running Natty Ubuntu connected via

Squeezeslave does not open/close the audio device during pause/resume.
It opens the device when squeezeslave starts and keeps it open until the
program exits. It's more likely the issue is related to power saving
where the tablet is turning off the audio hardware and the port audio

SqueezeBox is already a niche product when used for it's intended
