iPeng is configurable that way. You can set it so that the iPod /

me here on the diagnosis is the different language. like, is his OS in
Danish? his server? does that impact bug 9523?
also, even if he isn't using an AA tag, if he sets all his artists tags
to be in conflict with the VA s
one of the problems with server imo, is that you can't switch easily on
the fly between browsing just album artists, or all artists.
in any case, i put an album artist on everything. for comps, sometimes
its "Various Artists" but sometimes its "Soundtrack (Film)" or something
like that. i basic
Have you tried using Custom Clock to create your own Now Playing
screen?
Maybe remove some of the 'clutter' and increase the font size?

I used to have a small PC hooked up to a small monitor but the whole
reason I got a Squeezebox is to avoid the maintenance of a PC, have
instant access to music, etc. I like the Touch color interface with
cover art so all I need is a little larger display. I also prefer to
have an always on disp
You can probably get a second hand 15" LCD monitor for less than $100,
maybe less than $25. If you connect that to a cigarette pack sized mini
computer, and run the web interface on it (at your desired zoom level),
or SqueezePlay, would that perhaps fit your need?

I guess the product you are describing already exists today (a laptop).
Personally I find the Touch display very good. Im about 2 3 meters
away from it and the dispaly is readable enough. A larger display on
the Touch would mean a larger device and that would make it too bulky.
