Apple were actually the driving force behind removing DRM from
downloaded music so if anybody helped you to actually own downloaded
Music, it's them. They forced it on the record companies.
Slightly revisionist as apple didn't fight drm to begin with in fact
This was discussed a couple weeks ago in here, it's a more a Sonos
design than SB.

Digital outs are a maybe, we'll consider it down the road. Hopefully
they'll add a player with no amp with digital outs.

they actively embraced it as a way to garner favour with the record
companies and gain a monopoly in the audio market, they did start
championing it however when other companies started to deliver viable

Clixby's diagnostics point pretty squarely at mysb.com being the
problem.
Also, in the last couple days people have been complaining of

It occurs to me that there seems to be no error handling in the LMS code

Yes, but that's what I mean. No matter what your musical tastes are,
alternative stuff is not a comprehensive catalog.
I was talking about something like covering 50% of the most listened-to
stuff or so, something iTunes provides.
This article is mostly on what iTunes can do. For some things iTunes
can't do the article mentions that Sonos and Squeezebox can do them. I
guess these folks haven't caught up with Logitech killing Squeezebox
yet.
I'm afraid I don't have any links to share. I got this the old fashion
way, face to face discussion with a Logitech reseller.
On another note, I read that DTS bought over Phorus, a company that
developed a technology to stream music from Android phones via wifi. DTS
has marketed this IP as a

Cambridge Audio has 2, the Stream Magic 6 and the NP-30
Denon has the DNP720AE
Olive has several units that will work just fine.
And that's not even counting home brewed units using Raspnerry Pis...
yeah, it seems I'm back too. I've been streaming for a few hours now

I still think some error-checking in the code would be helpful, but the
immediate need is gone.

Hi all,
I've been doing a bit of research on the Olive One, and maybe I'm being

The Squeezebox hardware might be great but if it weren't combined with

I emailed Olive last night re gapless play back etc, and here's their
reply ...
Hello tgoward2011,
yes we will support gapless playback. Regarding multi-room synchronized
playback: we probably wont use UPnP for this, but more about this later
