export all their SB3s with a US PSU in the packaging? I'd
have thought they'd ship them with the relevant PSUs to save the
supplier the trouble of swapping them all over. Just think of the US
PSU mountain that would be created all around the world!

Are you trying to move files between the QNAP and your desktop? Is the
ftp server the one in the QNAP?

it looked then they'd house the electronics in an old margarine tub and

If you download and install NetStumbler from here:
http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/ it will show you the channel
number that any neigbouring networks are using. Takes the guesswork out
of finding a free one ;)

Microsoft provide the tools to copy CDs and provide links to tagging
websites etc. so in effect encourage people to do it.
