Just got a Spotify account, and while I can import an iTunes Playlist
into Spotify and see and play it on Spotify's Mobil & Web, I get an
empty playlist on my SqueezeBox Radio & Touch (The Playlist Name is

Plugins can do whatever they want. But most of them behave correctly,
and then yes, the prefs folder is what you need to look into.

So I just get the new SB3, get it's mac no. and replace it in the single
"_client" line in all these files, and hopefully, voila!

My Logitech Squeezebox has just died so I want to buy a replacement. I
can see some secondhand Slim Devices version for sale, which look the
same apart from obviously the logo. Are they the same?

You could change LMS to require a password if the IP address is not
local and have a maximum number of password attempts before suspending
such access for X hours - and a setting to disable all of this for
someone who really insists on taking the risk.
I can't change the users' LMS. And as said
A large and sticky warning on the home page of the forums would be
wiser.
Unfortunately only a very small percentage of the SB community is
regularly visiting these forums. Even I wouldn't get to see that message!

many files related.

Please define "fully compatible": Squeezebox doesn't support all those
higher resolutions. And I'm not sure how well the small buffer on

On that topic, I want to thank Logitech for continuing their support for
the backends. I think they have gone way beyond what is required. I
know we all hated when they discontinued the Squeezebox line. But I'm
amazed online services are still provided.

I updated to LMS7.9 recently and checked the scanner log to see the

although smartmix was working efficiently, the DSTM failed to do so.It
