I originally bought a Boom for the kitchen ... but the alarm clock + its overall good sound at low volumes (i.e. when you want to start to sleep with music) + the ability to soften the LCD when it is dark definitely changed my mind : bedroom is the best place to have a boom :) -- eLR!C
