I believe the plug is pretty standard at 5mm external and 2mm internal.
As long as it is 5v and 2A or above it should work, these are actually
pretty easy to get a hold of.

So as you can see, there are plenty of possible reasons why AAC/AAC+
and ALAC aren't included in the current lineup of players. Perhaps
adding codecs to some future player will be trivial, and everything
will be supported natively, who knows!

Sounds like the streams are not 44.1khz streams. The faster ones are
likely to be 22khz and the slower ones 48khz. Squeezeplay is still very
beta, especially where playback is concerned, so it doesn't surprise me
that only 44.1 is supported.

The power adapter plates could be a good buy regardless. More and more

I don't think vBulletin has the ability to delete user accounts by
default. There may be a way for the admins to remove your account,
effectively banning you from the forums.

for the audio output device, the controller only has one as well.

expensive way to get a screen in the room the mausic
is playing is to have an SB3 (for example) in the room and then have
that synced to a reciever in the closset. Though in that case you are
probably just better with a few controllers instead.

There is nothing official at the moment.
We have been waiting long enough (knocking on a year) for Logitech to
get spare charging cradles and batteries into the system yet alone any
other accessories. So I wouldn't hold your breath on them becoming
available.

I used to use the flac2mp3 script and liked it. Then I tried dbPoweramp
for ripping instead of EAC and it greatly simplified my ripping
workflow. dbPoweramps batch converter will also max out my quad core
box with four encoding threads too :)

I think if you just copy the SqueezeCenter folders in Program Files
and Program data then replace them when you are done that should over
it.
This is assuming youa re on Windows, no idea where they are located on
other OSs

MP3 codec been assumed to be near perfect? MP3 is
lossy so is inherently no where near prefect.
Anyway, if the decoding of a lossless stream wasn't perfect you would
get audio errors, not playback [that] is rather shrill as the OP was
speaking about.

broken. Simple as that. Ripping to a lossless format then transcoding
to another lossless format will still be lossless. No additional audio

I don't think you'll be able to get at the stream there as it is inside
the Flash file. I've tried tooking through the linked JavaScript files
on that page, but I can't see anything that refers to a stream.
