information doesn't change of the original song although the time
progress bar does seem to be correct.
It would also be great if on playing a playlist there were options to
play all and to play shuffled a bit like the ipod functionality.

The are on the same firmware and obviously the SC is the same version,

yesterday morning after returning from holiday I had
exactly the same problem (i.e. router says it was connected to internet
but the computer wouldn't connect). It resolved its self in about 30mins
and I put it down to a VM glitch.

No it just doesn't want to work. First couple of presses work then it
just stops. It doesn't update or anything.
It also struggles to detect players, currently slimserver is streaming
to 2 players and the plugin isn't findng any players.

In my experience Malcom Green will answer your questions in about 24
hours. He is normally very good at getting back to people in the forum.

I would concur with that, running on XP and the latest nightly is still
messing up the scanning big time.
It does seem much quicker and more responsive so hopefully the
remaining kinks will be ironed out shortly.

Windows MediaCenter also seems to take the computer out of standby for
recordings and place it neatly back in standby when it is done. Sweet.

Have you tried Squeezeslave

It works much better for me. However with 3 SB's and 2 squeezeslaves
there is still sometimes a very slight annoying lag.

Yes it is hosed for me too, both the 7th and 8th. Have gone back to the
6th and all is good. This has also given me the v39 firmware.

as normally the
laptop is fine for streaming video.
I did change the channel and it got a lot better, I just couldn't work
out why it would happen.

Yes on reflection I agree that would probably save a lot of angst for
new users.
My frustration comes from having asked many times how it is supposed to
work and not getting any answers.
