problems. I only have one Squeezebox 2 and use SqueezePlay and
SqueezePlayer, have about 15,000 FLAC files (and a few dozen MP3s).

Haven't tested extensively, but it seems to be working fine. Looking
forward to testing remote playback. I have a Motorola Droid (original,
but with CyanogenMod 7.0.1, so Android 2.3.3) and a Xoom (Android 3.0)

Interestingly, the Debian unstable build moved to 7.2 a few weeks ago.
I've been running it with no problems. There have been several SB2/3
firmware updates (today I got 107) and I'm not sure what the features
are, but it seems to work very well.

My Squeezebox sounds better than my CD player (cheap Panasonic CD-DVD
changer). The conventional wisdom is that the Squeezebox should
outperform any mid-range CD player, and some more expensive ones.

I'm using JRE 1.6.0_01 with one caveat--when it starts up the player
skin is blank. However, if I can find the minimize button and minimize
it and remaximize it it works fine.

for the ripping. Lots
of stuff here for that. I used abcde on Linux, which does the ripping,
coding to FLAC and tagging in an automated fashion. I just pop a disc
in the CDROM attached to my NAS and it's all done automatically.
