I've installed Linux Mint and it's a very pleasant experience.

Easier to set up than Ubuntu - although lots in the image files that can
be uninstalled if you just want a tiny LMS server.

I love my Joggler and you're right Mint works very well.
However if you want the joggler to be a dedicated part of your
squeezebox universe I'd actually suggest roobarbs SqueezeplayOS to be a
better option, its based on Ubuntu 10.04 but without a desktop
environment, squeezeplay is the native

Thought I'd just record that I've got SqueezeCentre running on my
Joggler and it seems pretty stable so far.
I'm booting off a 4Gb pen drive containing the 1.3a Ubuntu Netbook
Remix. Downloaded v7.5 of SqueezeCentre and also attached a 500Gb
powered hard drive with all my music on.

Thanks, that looks pretty nifty and wouldnt be too bad sticking out of
the side permanently.
Loving this joggler now everything is setup. Wish it was still on offer
though, would quite like another one, im sure there a room in my house
somewhere that needs music.

I seem to have got Squeezeplayer running of a fashion, but can seem to
get either the desktop shortcut or the application skin working
properly with large buttons and correctly sized artwork (still all
small and in the top corner). It is sooo close to being usable!
Could someone help
you need to turn off the chrometouch plugin, click the icon next to the
address bar. Then you should be able to select text to copy it

even ended up with the psu that was recalled.
I have just got squeezeplayer running although cant quit it currently.
Sound quality was a bit disappointing until I plugged in some old
Logitech 2.1 speakers. Now it sounds
The alarm works if you set the time from the server via Web - I think
there are some display issues if you try to set the time from the
device. You obviously have to leave Squeezeplay running on the Joggler
for the alarm to work!
There's a fix for the Quit button issue here:
This looks great. Mines on order. I've been looking for an ethernet
enabled photoframe for a while so being a Squeezecontrol is a great
bonus.
Now I need to get a 4GB usb stick.
