For me, BBC HLS HD stream seems to be OK - played for a couple of hours
with 1.6.10 so AFAICT no change on BBC side.
On your system, I suspect the modded file HLS.pm was lost after an LMS
update.

Hello @bpa,
The issue of: Fetch HLS error HTTP status = 597 Reason: Broken pipe is
back again. I think it's been back for a few weeks. You had previously
made a patch that would do a retry and it worked very well. Now it seems
to be giving up once the error is encountered. Has there been a

you may just have a local/CDN network issue.
If you want to test. Attached is a file that you can replace in the

@bpa, thank you for your continued good work on BBC iPlayer plugin.
When I connect to Radio

outside UK.
This be be a similar work aorund as there is a hidden way to play 320kb
R3 HLS outside the UK.

I've had a little tinker with Radio 3 AAC+ stream in the RadioFeeds

Does it work:
a) inside the UK?
b) outside the UK?
RadioFeeds UK & Ireland -> Search UK Radio by Name -> "BR3" -> BBC Radio
3 (aacPlus)

This thread is about HD (i.e. 320k AAC) for R3.
There is no http/AAC URL for R2.
If I have misunderstood your question - please provide more details.
If this is a working url for Radio3 what would it be for Radio 2 etc?

Just BBC publishes doesn't make it correct -
Use just the basic URL
http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcmedia_lc1_radio3_p
and not
http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcmedia_lc1_radio3_p?s=1570109570=1570123970=

The additional parameters are BBC way to control playing in some way
playing - not sure
