The LMS experience is not optimised for using folders. It physically
goes and read the folders as you browse to check if there are new
folders. It's always best to use the internal menus as these are read
from database relatively quickly.

Search is also pretty fast it uses tags

I've been having this problem for a while now and thought I'd ask and

We have one LMS with two Squeezeboxes in our house, and one controller
for each.
Our music is separated into two 'Collections' - My music, and my
father's music.
