I can live with Squeezer, even though I now realise how much I like the
UI and all the options of Orange Squeeze. In six months time I'll be
buying a new phone, I guess. Hopefully then I'm back to Orange Squeeze
:)

That's interesting; with Squeezer I could connect to the server but only
with the ip-address. Maybe there's a problem resolving hostnames.
Well, I guess I could live with Squeezer, at least for the moment. I'm
mainly after being able to search Spotify through LMS.

I checked the reviews for Orange Squeeze and it looks like it doesn't
support Android 6.0. Doesn't look like Squeezebox Control or
SqueezeTrol are working either. I installed Squeezer and it looks to be

It sounds like your new phone isn't joining your WiFi network properly,
since your other Android phone works fine. On your phone if you go to

If I try with hostname it says"cannot resolve hostname" and if I try
with ip-address it adds it to the list but it still doesn't

Sure sounds like a router isolation problem. Check router settings?
Reboot router? IP's for both phone and Win10 are on same subnet?
Try Win10 on WiFi temporarily (if capable)? Sure phone is connecting to

Does your router have a guest network? Check your phones WiFi settings
to see if it can see your other network (the one your Win10 is

I have seen the same a while back with Windows Computers (not mobile
phone).
I believe it has to do with the way Windows define networks properties
being Private or Public, and what workgroup you belong to.
You should try to delete your found WiFi network from your phone and
then reboot the
I bought myself a Huawei Honor 8 and now the only server I see is
mysqueezebox.com. My old Note 3 finds my server. What I see is that my
server connects to xxxnet 2 while my phone connects to xxxnet. This
never used to be a problem when using my Note 3. Do they handle WiFi
differently or is it
