Sorry to hear about that. Do you get any red glow on the back side of the SB3 (I think that's the optical output)? Do you have another power supply you could use to test whether it's the power supply or the SB3 itself? (make sure is PS is the right voltage, amperage, and polarity) If you're sure

Update: My repaired SB3 has returned home from Slim Devices and is working perfectly again. The root cause was that the CPU board came loose from the main board, so they added extra adhesive to prevent that from happening again. Thanks all for your T/S help, but I guess it was a hard failure.
