I had trouble and have reverted back.
I am on windows XP and running IE 7.0.5730.11 and upgraded from 7.0.1
to 7.1
The web interface was all over the place with menu misalignments.
I also use trackstat and custom menu from Erland but 7.1 seemed to wipe
them out.

Glad to hear you think so. Because I've basically rewritten all of the JS code
(and there's a lot of it!) to make it better managable and reusable, plus
adding some minor new features. Seems I didn't break too many things :-).

I just did apt-get update; apt-get upgrade, waited a bit, let the
squeezeboxes do the firmware update thing.
The only trouble I ran into was SuperDateTime had the wrong maxversion
string in the install.xml. Seems like a common bug in most of the 3rd
party plugins out there.

I too am having problems. I tried updating to 7.1 yesterday and had the
same situation where I could not get web access at all. but instead of
troubleshooting I just reverted back to 7.0.2.
personally I'm getting quite tired of the near continuous bugs with
squeezecenter.

I had a similar run in somewhere in the 7.1 betas, some part of my dB
has been corrupted (by erlier versions of SC ? ), and some version of
7.1 introduced a change to the dB and thus was in need of a rescan My
SqueezeCenter crashed completely and did not start properly.

Linux here too. Maybe the Linux builds tend to work better, or Linux
boxes tend to have fewer variables to take into account (antivirus
software, firewalls with unpredictable behavior, etc). Which would be
really strange

Another painless upgrade here.
Windows 2K server, MusicIP, Pandora.
I'd been running 7.01 as a service, and upgrading a service takes a
reboot (not a big deal, and something I -think- they fixed in win 2k3
server).
Set the MusicIP service dependency, another reboot, and I'm back in
business.

schema has changed. They are collecting data on it. It's early on,
