below I've described the features i'd most want to see in slimserver.
I'll be entering them into bugzilla, but first I want to let them out
here and possibly mature before I get on to entering them as
requests... (or as support to already entered request...)

are you asking for this in the player or web user interfaces?

What about a list of recent searches, sometimes I find myself looking
for an artist again (after listening to a different one). Maybe a
list of the last five search terms. It would save a bit of key punching.
