A new idea to solve this?
We have playlists ofcourse where we create different once for each
family member but isn't it a good idea to have Genre playlists/filters?
Meaning the playlis/filterst would only consist of the in/exclusion of
genres not actual tracks. This way you could create a

One thing I did that was relatively quick and easy was just to create a

Wow, I didn't know that. That's useful advice, thanks Robroe.

If you are talking about the Multi Library plugin I don't think there is
a template for defining a library through a tag scanned with the Custom

the library definition and edit the the SQL statement.

At my wife's request I had included her iTunes library (principally
because she wanted her playlists accessible), but the big downside was

I don't think there is a way for a plugin to put menus directly on the
home menu of the SBC but I haven't investigated it in detail.
Yes, it can be done using Player Settings - Menus
Thank you Erland for the excellent plugins.
Cheers,

Besides unique tagging, you could also just create a special
sub-directory/folder that only contains her music. She could then
browse directly to just that music folder and see only her CDs. If it
is a small collection as you say, she probably knows what is on each CD
that she wants to hear so
My daughter's SB only has a subset of my library on it which is defined
by putting her name in a comments tag, I use Erlands plugins to achieve
this. I'm not sure whether you can add a new menu to the SBC that just
lists the subset though.
