I doubt that this was ever possible; even in prior versions. Basically WMP can only stream (Play To) tracks to other media renders (such as Whitebear/LMS) that are in one of WMP's own *native* formats (e.g. pcm, mp3, wma, wav). The Shark add-ins do allow WMP to play tracks locally within

The only things I saw from Logitech as CES were a funky rectangular mouse, a keyboard, and some sort of iPod/iPad speaker system. Nothing regarding the squeezebox. I was hoping for something, but I have to say I'm not really surprised. I know the Boom has been discontinued, but I wasn't aware

Hi, thanks for you reply. I made sure that no other device on the network uses the same IP. The plug on the SB3 was moved when resetting to factory defaults, so I guess it has been wiggled ;) I will try to look at the outlet, but since this wasn't touched lately I assume it's still good.

if she syncs to your server you get two streams, I don't think lms can diff between local or remote players. Fyi the devs are implementing a scheme to make one squeezebox proxy for the other to make mysqueezebox.com sync better and use les bandwith on folks isp. You can ofcourse bitrate limit

There are a number of android based tv boxes coming onto the market. If Squeezeplayer could be installed that would be excellent as they have good audio output. Anyone know whether any of these boxes allow third party apps and whether squeezeplayer can be installed? Random eg follows.
