Does Squeezeplay write any logs that might hold a clue?
There are stdout.txt and stderr.txt in %TEMP%. They might have
squeezeplay prefixed to the name.
I don't have a windows system handy to check.
I've also seen this type of hang when squeezeplay can't open the sound
card.

Seems the two most logical reasons for such behavior.
I doubt it is a general issue with the PS4 itself.
No I have checked for that. I went for another soloution. I
connected the PS4 through LAN via a pair

Yeah the transporter is high quality , the only thing that would worry

A Toy quality thing like Touch can last a while too just wondering a bit

Yes, I use the BLANKSAVER plugin so that my Transporter displays are OFF
when I'm not playing something.

If your PS4 is really causing such RF interference with other WiFi
devices I'd suggest contacting Sony. I'm sure they would like to know
about it and you may have a defective unit. A quick google search shows
no such issues reported by any others.
I'm thinking about purchasing one of these apps, and want to know if
iPeng or SqueezePad can integrate/control MOG or Spotify, similar to how
Sonos can. Thanks for you help!

Play all tracks
This is the response I would expect but I only see it on a small number

Both Apps present the menus with the same content as they are shown on
your Squeezeboxes.
Did you

It's stderr-SqueezePlay.txt and stdout-SqueezePlay.txt.
Thanks! Presently, I don't have a SB setup. Is there a MOG (or Spotify)
search field on the iPeng/SqueezePad app? Can one save MOG tracks or
albums to a iPeng que or playlist? Sorry for the rudimentary questions.

Yes, that works (with both Apps). The one thing that does NOT
I've suddenly lost all my internet sources. If I try to connect to MSB

Re-power the router first and give it a minute or two to boot up. Then

Thanks everybody for the replies.
I like both, but I'm really sold on the cool factor of the Transporter.
That's where I'm leaning. The Touch is cheaper (a plus), but not by much
compared to it's price before Logitech stopped producing them. Can
someone explain a little more about the EDO plugin

What version of LMS are you using, 7.8 by any chance?
I think the 4 option menu you describe is the one you get when the
defeat destructive play option is enabled, this only happens if already
playing something. The longer menu is the normal one you get with that
option set in OrangeSqueeze
