A little history, I am using macOS from a long time (headless Mac mini)
as my main music source since at least 12 years, always with I tunes and
almost always in conjunction with audirvana, the system work perfectly

The information for the stream says:
Bitrate: 192kbps CBR
And it was always a nice high quality sounding stream.
I also tried a direct url to this:
https://www.protonradio.com/
Doesn't work.
I noticed that for artists with many albums, the album list is
truncated. This is because the Deezer api serves the result in chunks. I
could verify this behavior using Deezer's 'API explorer'
(https://developers.deezer.com/api/explorer?url=artist/1576343). The
result you get is like this:
