I have this same problem, all albums have artwork as a jpg in the album
folder, courtesy of mp3toys (if you are missing artwork use this!),
when you go into the album, artwork is there, but on the main browse I
get the big question marks. I've done a clear and rescan.

I am new to linux but i tried to delete from Midnight Commander and
also thru a shell window via sudo rmdir CustomBrowse it kept coming
back that it could not do it because they are read only.
You can't remove a folder which isn't empty. sudo rm -rf CustomBrowse would
do the trick, removing

i am an avid EAC user. to me, it sounds like one of the three possible
problems:
1. it sounds like your EAC is ripping the CDs as one single track and
not as separate tracks. which is weird, because EAC will rip single
tracks by default.

You can make this happen automatically after a set time by using the
Now Playing screensaver. This is set up under the Player Settings
menu, you can choose what is displayed and what is the delay time
before it kicks in.

I have suddenly noticed (over the past 2 days) that the now playing
screen on the Nokia 770 Opera browser (using both the Nokia770 Touch
skins) no longer shows the Album Art, the progress bar or the track
info. Everything else seems to be in order. The skins are working fine

Hi thanks for the tip. I actually did two things. I changed the
batteries on the remote and I also restored windows back to a time when
I knew the squeezebox was working. It seems to have fixed the problem.

It looks like the format of the Winamp higher bitrate stream is AAC plus
which is not supported natively by Squeezebox.
To support AACplus on slimserver you will need to add in support as

I just moved and with my new ISP I have to run Cisco VPN to access my
work e-mail/network drives etc. However, as soon as I start up VPN my
squeezeboxes can't talk to slimserver anymore. Does anyone know of a

The Nokia N95 does well with the handheld skin, especially with the
screen rotated 90 degrees. It's a little awkward at first, but you get
used to using the handset sideways.

I now have two SlimServers, one on Linux and one on my Mac. I need to be
able to switch which one I am using. There seems to be no menu item to
allow this.
And The wireless is the same, so I do NOT want to have to reenter all
the WPA2 security stuff.
So how do I easily switch servers? (It is
for a long time now, i have not been able to reliably listen to net
streams with the sb2. long ago they used to work, but with ~6.3 and
beyond they became unusable. (any search of my posts will show my
