Now it just scroll once and stops. So I have tried to change in

my default (HDMI) ALSA output device) before MythTV, I get sound from
squeezeslave and nothing from Myth. If I reverse the start-up order, I get
sound from Myth
For me, I don't like the photo-realistic icons at all. An icon is not a
picture, and all this black clashes against the blue. I vote for the
iPhone/iPod icons on the iPad. Screen resolution sides with me.

It did have server contact, and the server was two hours off. A forced
NTP update fixed the issue.

You can change the format directly on the Radio. Just look in the
settings menu (of the Radio).
Only for older devices like the Boom or Classic you could change the
format on the server.

In the end, I did a bit of research into 'homeplug' devices and went to
get a set of them, so the SB1 is now wired into the server. It also
allows me to extend the wireless coverage a little bit for a netbook.
Seems to work fine, with three out of four 'boxes' now working fine.

While this is an issue worth looking into, the easy workaround I used
was to add an old pci sound card and let squeezeslave hold onto it as
much as it wants.
This also allows us to watch MythTV in the living room and listen to
squeezeslave on the outdoor speakers, all coming from the one pc.
