Squeezebox Server is implemented as a Preference Pane, and as far as
I'm aware you can't put individual Preference Panes in the Dock. It is
accessed via System Preferences (like Control Panel on a Windows box).

OK, I have just done some test scans all without turning off AV.
Some with a bad playlist some with a good playlist and some without any
playlist.
All are running to completion without any errors!
The only thing that may have changed in the files is the tags. I had a

The same process doesn't work in Safari. It looks like a feature of
Chrome. Maybe there's a way in other browsers, but since I use Chrome

After installing 7.5.3 on my SB3 the Scroll Once Then Stop option
seems to be broken. It continues to scroll. I see no difference between
this and the Standard Scrolling option. I noticed this on
mysqueezebox.com about a month ago. How do I get the display to scroll

similar. Of course, I can train her to open Safari and click the

so you have to fix your tags and do a clear and rescan.

It turns out you CAN change the icon to anything you like. For
instance, to change the icon to the same one that Squeezeplay uses (a
nice silver/white SB3), you do a 'get info' on Squeezeplay.app, click
on the little icon in the top left, and use the 'edit' - 'copy' option

Yep, Scroll Once and Stop is broken on two Booms for 7.5.3. Just keeps
scrolling.
At least I enjoyed the scrolling feature for a month or so.

i don't know what you mean. just put only the correct info in its
respective tag and you'll be fine.
Tend to agree with your bastardisation comment but as I understand it
it's perfectly aceptable to put more than one name in the album artist
field. Not sure what the correct delimiter is though but whatever did
it to mine used // and it semmed to be ok with it.

no, it does id3v2.3 as well. however, it uses FreeDB by default, so you
won't get TPE2/AA tags, b/c i am fairly sure FreeDB doesn't have that
info, or if it does, EAC doesn't record it by default.

I run SBS (now 7.5.3) on an HP MediaSmart EX480 WHS box. The WHS box is
set to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity. The SB3 is connected by
WiFi. I've recently changed my router to a Billion 7800n now have
some strange behaviour.

I used ipeng on iphone for a long time, but now I find squeezepad to be
my main music controller in the house.
Squeezepad interface is IMHO, simpler and cleaner for just controlling

In older versions of SBS (can't remember how old) the display would
stick on the failed connection permanently. I assumed that a firmware
change had improved the behaviour to what I was seeing - the display
going blank.
