I suggest changing the IP address at the top of the AutoIt script (you
can do this in Windows Notepad). If you install AutoIt you can test
the script out by doubleclicking the script, then compile it if it
works.
Change 127.0.0.1 to whatever the ip address is of your vortexbox.

FYI - Foggy Mountain does work fine on a Reciva device (using the
station from their database).
It shows as a 131Kbps AAC stream.

appear fine whether they are in iTunes or viewed in SBS without iTunes
integration. Note that SBS does not use the filenames for browsing by

Update: I do think it's a bigger problem (on Logitechs side).
Though I'm able to render menus again in my local version, menu updates
don't work anymore (on SqueezeBoxes and in SqueezePad).
You can try yourself: just try to turn on/off a Squeezebox with a
Touch: the menu item turn Player
I seem to have the same issue on Debian (Lenny).
I have 3 SB3 connected, all wired. 1 player disconnectes randomly, and
the other 2 players work all the time.
I have tried switching 2 players (to verify if it is a switch /
cabeling issue) but it is still the same player that has the issue.

I believe Andy is aware of it. It's a change in the comms that seems to
cause it.
All menu updates are only being sent to one arbitrary (the first?)
controller (the server packages messages for all channel up into one
multi-message packet)
SP is affected, too.
Maybe iPeng is affected most heavily

Nope. The closest you can come is the Touch remote, which is slightly
smaller than the SB3's, and not backlit. Though I actually like the
size better than the SB3's.

From the web page it looks slightly different from my Touch remote. And
it also appears to say Transporter on the bottom. It's surprising
they would do a run for that? Is it real, or is it Photoshop?

If you look at the image gallery there is an enlargement of the remote
which seems to me the normal transporter remote. Backlit I wouldn't
say.
Contrary to the touch you can't select the Transporter product and
order a spare remote. So I'd say this is new old stock.

I upgraded yesterday to 7.5.4 r31987 and it seems to have worked on my
network. I have had two receivers synced all day, without any stop.
Will test some more tomorrow with two more players synced.

in SB as music folder then the titles are used instead of tags? All
of my lossless, mp3, and 24bit subdirectories are under my main
music folder. How do I keep the ability to search in my bitrate
folders while maintaining

My Squeezebox Touch keeps dropping the connection on internet radio
streams tonight - it'll play for anything between 1 and 5 minutes and
then stop and go to the top-level menu. Sometimes it's reduced to just

premium account that is all good and have been using it through my SB3
for years. I can log into Radioio's web site and access the account
without any problems.

Forget about Windows for now. How are you browsing your library with
SBS? Under My Music, are you using Albums, Artists, Genres, Years, or
Music Folder? Music Folder is the only one that cares what your
filenames are -- everything else is based on the tags in your files.

I had the same issue (Ubuntu 10.10), which appeared with the 7.5.3
upgrade.
Maybe my wheater-plugin, which tried to poll wunderground.com without
success, caused the problem.
It could be a coincidence that the wunderground.com problems appeared
at the same time as the 7.5.3 upgrade.

OK, do you now the IP address of your Vortexbox? If you don't know how
to find that out there's not much help I can give you. If you can find
out, I can make another FooSQ version where you can put the IP address
into a Windows shortcut.

The plug-ins I was running were all Logitech ones.
I think the truth is 7.5.3 is actually the problem, not the plugins.
For instance we've already established definitively that the FAAD AAC
conversion executable shipped with 7.5.3 causes a processor race.

Problem with Controller
OK, here you go. Download the zip file. Unzip the files to your FB2K
directory which should be c:\program files\foobar2000.
Right click on the file that says FooSQIP.exe - Shortcut and select
properties.
In the Target field you will see an IP address of 127.0.0.1 - change
that to the IP
