Rhapsody is great. I listen to Slacker and Pandora and Last.FM too. They
are good for random music and discovering new stuff. Then when I hear
something I like, I can listen to the whole album, and other albums by
that artist, on Rhapsody. Rhapsody also has what they call channels
that work like

Question:
I have used this app for a while now on my Desire and it has been
nothing but excellent, so thank you for that. But, since I rooted my
phone and started using Oxygen, SqueezeCommander can't seem to connect
to the player (via MSB.com). The player is connected and fully visible
on MSB.com.

The only way I can get rid of this connection screen, is to go to the

I use last.fm, Slacker and Pandora. I find that last.fm has the widest
and deepest selection of music for someone like me with unusual likes.

etc.) After about a year and a half on the service, it's amazing how

I have removed the WiFi card and powered the SB3 up connected directly
to the ethernet network - the wifi options were no longer presenting
themselves which is no surprise.
It would not get an IP address from the DHCP server (which is Windows

I could of sworn I saw an option to display dynamic playlists in the
regular playlist folder, but now I can't find it. I've searched around
and haven't come up with anything. This is making my crazy. Maybe I had
a plug-in installed that is now not installed? I currently have the

Try an xilinx reset. Remove power, hold down the 1 key on the remote
while restoring power. Then try to go through network setup.

Hi bluegaspode,
I should be getting the iPad2 any day now... is Squeezepad working OK
with iOS 4.3? Right now, I'm running Squeezeserver 7.6.0 r31864.
Any known problems with the above combination?

iOS 4.3 is no problem, running it myself without problems.
SqueezeServer beta 7.6 or beta 7.5 right now need (easy) workarounds to
work together with SqueezePad. As you can read some posts above you need
to enable debug-logging on the channel network.cometd.
In the meantime I also found out
i would try a static ip outside the dhcp range. i setup my sb2 like

for both and its relatively easy to do on devices with a display.
imo, the slim dhcp implementation sucks; it works for some, but clearly

Thank you for the detailed response. I might just wait for 1.7.3.

I did notice there was a Vizualizer Screensaver plugin installed on my

Still connected to the old server.

it's been rock solid for me.
I do wish you would add the ability to adjust the volume on all devices
simultaneously. If that feature already exists please
Hi,
Whenever I try to order the playback through iPad upgrade using the

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions! I deleted the app and re-installed
and then was able to purchase with the in- app option so it must have
been due to purchasing the original app with a different account.
Working now! Thanks, again!

I use both Slacker and LastFm the most. Both are great for hearing new
stuff, plus I like the radio feel I get from them. Love all of my
custom stations on Slacker. I also really enjoy listening to my
friends' stations on LastFM and seeing what they have been listening
to.

Can anyone explain the listing rules?

The Jimi Hendrix Experience

So I've got Ella Fitzgerald listed by last name (ok), fun-da-mental
Short answer - check your tags. Without going into all SBS's behavioral
rules around sorting artists, here are some things to check:
- The is by default ignored as a sort prefix unless you've removed it
from the exclusion list in settings
- artistsort tag takes precedence over artist tag

After some research I read about MAC address corruption.
I looked at the current settings and at first it appeared that the MAC

Then I noticed that the first pair was '01' and not '00' as printed.
I changed it to '00' and everything started
