Some clarifications about Boom and Radio alarm:
- both have an internal timer for the next alarm, so go off, when your
server fails to send a signal at alarm time
- only the Radio actively (and very aggressively) checks, whether a
stream is playing. So while a Boom might get a signal from the

I haven't been able to connect, I've added my IP address and Port and I
continue to get an error message. Could this be due to the fact I have

Very satisfied with ipad/ipeng in the couch surfer scenario.
I still use the IR remote when it's around for simple actions (volume,

Until recently my favorite was the SB Controller. But last week I got an
iPod Touch and iPeng. I'm still getting the hang of the interface, but I
expect iPod + iPeng will become the new favorite before the end of the
month.

I have downloaded all the software including the recommended Bullzip and
generated the catalog. I have found no info at the bullzip site on how
to actually use this printer on my Windows 7 PC. Any help greatly
appreciated.
The catalog looks great and took about 5 mins to generate!!

station. I get a few lines referring to DNS requests. Disk activity

I have a SB Touch and NAS in my 2 channel system in my office. I'm
running Squeezebox server, Windows Home Server and a wireless router. I
also have iTunes in Apple lossless on my desktop. My question: what's
the best way to get lossless, preferably 96/24, music from my NAS which

Since I sent my Boom back to Logitech, and they no longer make it, I
have a choice of waiting for the Booms replacement ( could be MONTHS)
or take a Touch or a Duet in its place. From what I have seen online I
am leaning towards the Touch because of the USB and SD card input.

With Squeezebox system, multi zone usually means adding additional
squeezeboxes. Assuming your larger system downstairs is a good audio
2-channel system, best bet would be to add a Touch down there. You
would then have 2 Touch'es, each can connect to your

I use both iPeng and SqueezePad on my iPad.
SqueezeCommander on my Android phone.
SqueezeBox Server web interface on my media center PC (because I don't
know of anything else).
For me, SqueezeCommander wins hands down when it comes to synching a
large number of players.

Testing the latest beta on a CM6 Droid and CM7 Nook Color. No caching
problems found, but my library is fairly small atm and probably not the
best test. SP menus OK so far.

less finicky to set up. If you're gunshy about EOL, you should know
