Let's move the discussion to the puddletag forum. Bottom line is with
the exception of windows file paths puddletag is OS agnostic, written
in Python and dependent on a series of Python libraries to do its work.
Those libraries are also OS agnostic and available for most OS', so

Any plans to update the landscape orientation in iPeng any time soon?
Currently the Now Playing view doesn't offer nearly the same level of
functionality as in portrait mode. Apart from a better layout that
never obscures the artwork, it would also be nice to be able to skip
tracks in this view.
Have seen the same behaviour playing Absolute Classic Rock on SB Classic
and Boom, Duet Player too. They are all IP3K based players strangely
enough. I have reported this fault to Logitech support, but since all
these players are EOL, they probably won't do much to fix the problem.

I've got Squeeze Commander running on an Archos 101 without issues so
should run just fine on the 7". Should be some deals around now the G9
is imminent. HMV have been selling the 101 for £129.

The only info I found in the puddletag forum for a Mac install is for
Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), not Lion (10.7):

Yes.
UDP/3483 is mainly used for server discovery,
TCP/3483 is used for player control,
TCP/9000 is the HTTP interface (web UI, streaming source for most
players, and JSON interface for SqueezePlay based players)
TCP/9090 is the command line interface (which is not mandatory, AFAIK)

The Archos 80 G9 is starting to become available in the UK for around

Sorry - that would have been helpful - Fargo, ND, USA. Probably
prohibitively expensive for shipping to Denmark...

My feedback about new menu logic and side effects.
Now items supposed to be inside Myapps are displayed both inside Myapps
and at the root level.
Writing here because I did not find an appropriate Trac item where to
insert comment (or should I had to create e new one?)
