Has anyone got this working?
I use squeezedroid and also squeezecontroller - both work happily via
connect bot or locally. I bought squeezeplayer and it works well
locally but will not connect at all via connectbot. This is on galaxy
s2. The squeezeplayer settings are 127.0.0.1 and port 9000 -
I don't have a TP but my four year old SB3 is without power 90% of the
time, never had to do a Xilinx reset, works fine.

I've got both (SB3) - and in my experience the TP is more prone to
issues when (un)powered. Id planned/hoped to keep it for many years, so
please update the thread with any information you may receive.

And in two years of operation, I have never had to do a reset of any
kind.
I wonder if it could be firmware related. By that I mean that I run the
older SC 7.3.4 and I think firmware 54. Maybe this is a contributing
factor.

middleware. Eventghost comes to mind here. Controlling the volume from
eventghost is no problem at all, depending on the hardware
I have had Spotify since it first came to the US. I love it but don't
much care for the antiquated UI. So I signed up for a MOG trial. The UI
on the web is much nicer. But using my Touch it is pretty much the same

So I tried a few different versions and placed them in
C:\Program Files\Squeezebox\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
Looks like version 1005.5.0.0
If you get problem when using mysqeezebox.com - then your SBS server has
NOTHING to do with the problem.
What do you see when the SB3 reboots
- do you see the big Logitech logo and then connecting to server

- do you just see it reconnecting to the server

16bit audio?
squeezeslave -L only lists devices for which it can successfully open

regalma, for search, the key is to get an Android (or presumably iOS)
device with the app on it. Being able to search via actual keyboard is
a huge, huge win.

My coumpter died and I had to reinstall all my software. I have three
Ready nas Boxes NV+. On old computer I created a folder with three
short cuts to the boxes and pointed the Squezze box to the folder. I
did that and I still can not read files on the three boxes. I cleared

I feel your pain, same buffering issues. My connection is pretty good,
but I believe the combination of my server being 7.6.x, and only being
able to use it through mysb.com, causes constant rebuffering. It is
almost unusable.
I won't cancel the service as I get pretty good use of it through my
Puddletag ( linux ) can easilly be setup to retrive only years for
example.
But the online databases are not always to be trusted they are often
wrong and sometimes i disagree with correct info .
I prefer the original release year of the recording for example an old

tunein (for example 1.FM or 181FM) the cover art is the station logo
but on Android and IPad tunein app when I play those station you can
see the song cover art. Is it possible to do the same with our SB?

content, but I am leaning toward sticking with Rhapsody. Lack of
browsing by genre is the whole reason I switched to Rhapsody after
trying Spotify (my first on-demand music service experience).
