OK - that one is the Boom (which is wireless) I have previously tried just syncing the two wired SB3's and the skips still happen, although I haven't tried this with logging switched on. It must be the next step - otherwise you are stumbling around in the dark. Make sure you get decent logs of a couple of minutes as sometimes it can take time for sync process to settle down. After each change save and then clear the log and note what you did so that if you need to re-examine it you know the circumstances. The logging gives some indication on what is happening. If you change any of the sync params you should redo the logging and look what is happening. I hadn't looked at this menu in a long time as I always use ipeng to sync. I'm back to my vortexbox appliance now (and no problems with sync). So in my case, it was clearly the dell laptop running LMS that was causing the problem. Nothing else was different. very odd (as that laptop is a fairly powerful modern laptop, running winXP). Tablet finally working again...Why now do I see #'s instead of letters when I drag to quickly move through my Artist listing? Without any quick way to see the first letter as I go through (or having the letters listed on the right for quick navigation) it is definitely not as simple to see and choose the Artists (52,000 + tracks, not sure how many artists, but I'm sure you see how this could be an 'issue'. Is there a setting that may have gotten changed that I'm not seeing? Yep, sorry. I meant the OP. The logs show a pretty good sync and then the jiffies epochs get updated for both players. This looks like either the server thinks it can't handle something or the time stamps are suddenly way off.
