Not *This script* cause it uses nc (thats a telnet tool) and all the
other commands are made for *ux.
You have to use another telnet tool for windows (that allows scripting
inside) like eg.
First of all update to the latest LMS (7.7.5 or more reent). Then re-run
a scan and provide your full scanner.log file.

With tasker you can make a call... So... you must call a beatiful girl
for a few euros, and she'll removes your headphones and also, if you
pay more euros, you 'll have more jobs...
It's not so difficult...

*Vortexbox LMS 7.8 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS*
Hi
I'm using a LMS 7.7.3 on windows 7, a library of 28000 files on an
external hard drive.
It has started to take 6 hours to scan changed files. Any suggestions
about how to improve this? It's happened out of the blue -- the computer
crashed and then suddenly this scanning problem!
Any ideas
That I don't know but think that you have to adapt it.
In the meanwhile take a look at the KidsPlayer Plugin. With that you can
configure a button to switch off all players for instance.

FINALLY, we have reached the state "Ready for Sale". Might take one or
two more hours until the update is rolled out to all App-Store sites,
but the update should be available then.
Thanks a lot for all of your
so i bought an SB3 on ebay. first thing i do is factory reset. then

but even though the only thing it should know are *my* MYSB credentials,
it somehow switches to the previous owner's and remembers it every time

Would you suggest I install 7.7.9 then? (If so, can you give me a link

7.9. It's a development release. It has lots of improvements over the
official 7.7.x (bug fixes as well as features), but it has not been
released. Which means: yes, it's great, and currently very

There is probably a steep licensing fee, as well as NDAs, making an open
source implementation unlikely.

After that it just goes on to handle all the changed files it sees.
There are no changed files! This is the second time this has happened
since the crash.
There has been a long standing issue with daylight savings: in case you
were living in EU, you switched off daylight savings. Therefore LMS

Where did you find that link? Just use the one without the -origin. It's
most likely faster, as it's using caching servers near you.

*Players:* SliMP3,Squeezebox3 x3,
Quick question before I do the install. Do I need to delete the old
server or will it do it for me?

Under Windows netcat can be used to send CLI commands to LMS. See how to
use it in a batch file at the end of the example in 'this'

Thank you! Got
Should just overwrite (update) existing LMS keeping all preferences &
settings. I'd suggest you clear the LMS Cache and do a Wipe & Rescan in
LMS Control Panel.
No need to wait to listen to music while scanning, just use My Music >
Music Folders (no scan even needed to use this).
I seem to remember downloads.slimdevices.com not working so went
searching, maybe even got it from the forums !
Ok, that might be: -origin is, as the name says, the origin server, from
where the caches are getting their content. If the caches fail, then you
can pull from it. Otherwise you
I knew this was going to take some time so I bought a Grace Primo. Fair

it in a minute when the ickStream service becomes available and I can

OK I'll do it today or tomorrow.
There's a scan running now, the trouble seems to begin at this point in
