[slim] Woodstock revisited on WXPN Philadelphia beginning Thursday 8/15 at 5:07pm
Folks, This from WXPN in Philadelphia: "To revisit Woodstock as it all went down, XPN will broadcast Woodstock As It Happened 50 Years On, a radio exclusive that includes all of the festivals archived audio, from the music to the stage announcements to the rain delays. Over three days, well play newly reconstructed audio archives of each of Woodstocks 32 performances, from Richie Havens opening set to Jimi Hendrixs closing one and everything in between, in as close to real time as possible. From Thursday, August 15 at 5:07 p.m. through Sunday morning, tune in to hear the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and so many more just as they sounded in 1969 during the weekend that would shape a generation." Even in the privacy of your own home, I'd stay away from the "brown acid" :) radish112's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11591 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110869 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Tunein changes?
Just to close off slartibartfast Virgins stream URL query The Virgin streams are HLS MP3. Until now I never had a HLS / MP3 stream to test (most are HLS/AAC) and the PlayHLS plugin seems to handle it OK. No in stream metadata - seems to be tied to RadioPlayer platform. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110862 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
