This looks interesting. So using this setup, the power is supplied to
the SB3 through the ethernet cable? No fussing with splicing wires or
plugs? Thanks.

Look at KEF Direct. The LS50's at $900 a pair are an absolute steal. 40%
off retail, and lowest price that I've seen by $200. I have them and
love 'em. Google them for reviews.
Happy Thanksgiving as applicable.

Had to replace the PSU on my SB3 Classic this morning. I bought three
generic units the last time this happened, so fortunately I had two
spares. I checked on Ebay to see when I bought them, and it was in
January of 2017, so the replacement only lasted ten months (!!!).
I'd like to buy another
My Condolences.
Yesterday, my eldest SB3 was seriously ill,and it looked like it was
terminal. No display, no sound, just a dim red light emanating from the
back. As a last resort, we tried a new power supply, and the result was
truly miraculous. Our home is once again filled with music and joy,
Many thanks to the international community. I'm going to look into this
POE thing. Wish me luck.

Where can I find a good tutorial for how to use dbPoweramp? The help
section that comes built in is a little vague. Are there any
alternatives?

I agree with that. The Max2Play set up is pretty much idiot proof, and
I'm an idiot.

Thanks for the response.
Not sure if my SB3 still works. It went down two days before Christmas,
maybe due to a Windows 10 update, maybe something else. I didn't have
the time or the will to troubleshoot it.
I always wanted to get away from a separate server for a lot of reasons

Other forum members are using Raspberry Pi based systems. I was a little
intimidated about getting into this, but I replaced my SB 3 with an Allo
DigiOne Player recently. It uses Max2Play to run LMS and Squeezelite,
all preinstalled. Set up was ridiculously easy due to Max2Play's

When I synchronize my Max2Play Pi Player to my Boom, do I use the
synchronize button in the Max2Play drop down list in settings, or the
Boom drop down list? When I tried to sync, Ipeng would only turn on the
Boom, and I'm not sure which is the correct way to do this. The Boom has
been offline for
