If you add a name for a SB, you may have to reboot the router for that
name to show in the router's client list. When I have changed an SB
name in the past, the old name was still displayed until I rebooted the
router.

Since v7, iTunes has taken to squirrelling the artwork away in a
location unknown to SS. The easiest workaround is to embed the artwork
in each track. I believe there's a script to automate that on the Mac -
search this site.

Another way is to go to Server Settings/iTunes in SlimServer and select
Include all songs rather than Don't include unchecked songs. That

I suppose you could try some experiments to shorten the total command

Have you got Mp3tag set to show ALL tag types in the songs? You need to

has the same Disc Number info for all the tracks,
i.e. 1 of 1 for a single album. Select all the tracks, do Get Info - you
should then see the tags that are the same across all the tracks. Should
be at least artist, album, Disc Number (1 of 1) and total number of
tracks.
