Yes, double clicking on the systray icon gives exactly the same message
from Firefox.

My anti-virus is by Avast, a friend who has exactly the same hardware as
me and also uses Avast had no problems when he installed SC last night.
I'm thinking that I might try uninstalling and then re-installing SC

The fix, in my case, was to type in the address without the leading
http://; so that when the browser did it's stuff the correct address
was used.

I'm interested in finding out about the CLI that's available in Slim
Server. I've found the wiki page on CLI which give a couple of examples
but I was wondering if there's a complete list of commands and an
explanation of what they do anywhere?

Anyone know of any active speakers that can be left in a kind of
standby state and then automatically turn on by detecting the presence
of an audio signal on their inputs? I'm looking at the cheaper/smaller
end of the market - under £100 and as small as possible.

turned the
phone part off then I was able to connect to my SquezeCenter and
everything seemed to work properly. SlimControl had no problems with the
operating system or the higher screen resolution of the Touch Pro.

an HTC Touch Pro as well and SlimControl is able to turn the
WiFi on and off without issue. What version of Slimcontrol are you
using? I'm using 0.95.

In my set-up Squeeze center runs on a Linux machine and I run Spotify
and DS Bridge on my Windows XP laptop machine. This works properly so I
think that having the server on Linux is not inherently a problem.

the cover art on, I've got both Coverflow : 'Activate' and '..on
radio' checked). Cover art for albums in my own library shows up
correctly.

I think I'll buy one with Ubuntu installed and try to get SBS running,
then at a later date I could just swap the hard drive with a new one
and try a to install the VortexBox ISO, that way I won't ruin the
ubuntu install if it all goes wrong. Feasible?

without the new music so it would seem that the file system is still
OK. Maybe the database is corrupt?
Is there anyway I can force squeezebox server to delete and then
rebuild a new database?

Is it possible to get Logitech Media server to keep a list of recently
played albums so that they can easily be played again.
When I used to use CDs I would keep CDs that I'd just played on a shelf
near the player and when the shelf got full (maybe 10 CDs) I'd put some
