No it is not there if i start SlimCtrl in landscape mode.

It could still be rescanning. I had the problem were it would just do
repeated rescanning ... like it never ended.
Look in your server and scanner logfiles.
Or newt time it happens fire up taskmanager and have a look if there
are processes that eat the CPU

I had that issue twice when doing a reset.
In both cases I found that the SBS process on the server was eating a
core on the CPU.
I killed it and restarted SBS and I was able to perform the setup.

Did you try the 7.6.1 RC version or the sligthly faulty 7.6.0?
FYI with 7.6.0/7.6.1 SBS now use SQLite again, so it is no longer
required to run mysql.
As I have no knowledge about readynas I better leave the advice part to

But it is the same for most of my family; they can connect things but
if it doesn't work they give up... it have to be plugplay... the

Try updating to 7.7.1 a couple of iTunes relatied issues have been
corrected since 7.6.1
