was thinking at app that actually listens to what is being played would be ideal: The buffer, latency, etc, would all be present in that real life measurement. Kind of like how our ears can hear it -- but can't tell me whether is 7rms or 750 ms. :) -- nathan_h

Hmmm. So far nothing obvious except it has stopped happening now that the virus scan has been off for a few days. I am not convinced that was it, but I am not brave enough to turn the virus scan back on yet! -- nathan_h

Several different threads on this topic, mostly in the unix areas, make me think I'm not alone. But the key solution, disabling virus scanning, hasn't solved this problem for me. Are there any plug ins known to cause this kind of problem? -- nathan_h

Since Logitech has stopped selling the standalone receiver, and there are multiple alternatives out there already for setup, I'm thinking adding this feature to squeezpad would not be a high priority. -- nathan_h

I too have this problem. All the tracks and albums are showing up, but zero artists. This happened even when I uninstalled AVG so there was no antivirus software interference. I'm using server version 7.4.1 on a Windows 7 box. -- nathan_h
